Question 1

What do new players actually get?

Accepted Answer

We double your first deposit. Put in anything from $5 and Locked matches it 100%, up to $25. The part that matters: that bonus is not spending money. It sits outside your balance and lands in it in one piece once you have staked 5× what you deposited in 1v1 — $25 on the smallest deposit, $125 on the largest one we match. It expires 30 days after your deposit. Your deposit can be withdrawn once you've played it, and what you win can always be withdrawn.

Question 2

Is there a wagering requirement on my money?

Accepted Answer

Only one: your deposit can be withdrawn once you've played it. What you win can always be withdrawn. The bonus never enters your balance, so it holds nothing of yours, and 5× your deposit staked in 1v1 is only the condition for collecting it.

Question 3

What happens if I don't use the bonus?

Accepted Answer

Nothing is taken from you. It expires 30 days after your deposit and simply goes uncollected — it was never in your balance, so nothing is taken from it. Your deposit and your winnings are untouched, and the countdown is visible in your wallet.

Question 4

What currency is my balance in?

Accepted Answer

US dollars. Stakes, pots and the 10% fee are all counted in USD, and that is what lands in your wallet. If you pay in another currency your provider converts at checkout, and you see the exact amount before you confirm.

Question 5

Is this gambling?

Accepted Answer

No. Locked is a skill-based contest — better player wins. There's no bookmaker, no odds, no chance-based outcomes. Designed to comply with U.S. UIGEA. Available only where skill-based competitions with entry fees are permitted, per our terms.

Question 6

What if my opponent disconnects mid-match?

Accepted Answer

It depends on whether they dropped or walked. A disconnection is meant to be resumed: you both start a new game and play out the time that was left, keeping the score from the game that dropped. If they abandon the match instead, submit the result with a capture of the score and the disconnect screen. Both stakes stay locked in escrow; if they never report, the match settles to you when the reporting window closes, and if they contest it, a human admin rules on the evidence within 24 hours.

Question 7

How fast are payouts?

Accepted Answer

Wins credit to your wallet on the final whistle. Withdrawals are approved by hand after a security check: over the last 90 days, half were approved within about 6 hours and 9 in 10 within 24 hours (33 approved withdrawals to September 12, 2026), and identity verification can add time.

Question 8

What's the smallest match I can play?

Accepted Answer

$2.50 entry per player ($5 pot). Maximum scales with your account level — most active accounts can play up to $500 per match.

Question 9

Do I have to deposit to play?

Accepted Answer

A stake has to be funded, so yes — you put money in before you play for money. You choose when and how much, from PayPal, card or crypto, with no minimum balance and no subscription. The first deposit is the one we double.
