Pricing
No subscription, no monthly fee, no charge to deposit or withdraw. Locked earns a flat 10% on the total pot of each match — and only when a match is played.
Yes — we double your first deposit: 100% of it, up to $25 in bonus, from a $5 minimum. Put in $25 and you play with $50. The terms, in plain English and never in a footnote: the bonus carries a 3× playthrough before it can be withdrawn and expires 7 days after it lands. Pricing stays dead simple underneath: joining is free and the only cost of playing is the flat 10% fee on the pot. Take the offer or read every condition explained.
A flat 10% of the total pot, deducted from the winner's payout — no subscription, no deposit fee, no withdrawal fee on Locked's side. Both players stake the same amount, so the winner always collects 90% of the combined pot: two $10 entries make a $20 pot, the winner receives $18, Locked keeps $2. On a draw both stakes are refunded in full and no fee is taken.
| Each entry | Total pot | Winner receives | Platform fee |
|---|---|---|---|
| $2.50 | $5 | $4.50 | $0.50 |
| $10 | $20 | $18 | $2 |
| $25 | $50 | $45 | $5 |
| $100 | $200 | $180 | $20 |
| $500 | $1,000 | $900 | $100 |
Rows scale linearly. The fee is always 10% of the total pot, deducted from the winner's payout.
From one thing: the flat 10% fee on the pot of a completed match. Locked is not a bookmaker and never takes the other side of your match — there is no house edge, no odds margin and no rake that changes with the sport or the stake. We do not charge for accounts, deposits, withdrawals, creating a challenge or browsing the lobby, and we do not sell a premium tier. If no match is played, Locked earns nothing.
That is the whole model, and it is why the fee is published here rather than discovered at payout. You can check it on any match before you accept: how a match is settled and how our fee compares with other platforms.
55.6% — five wins in every nine decided matches. At equal stakes, a win returns 90% of a pot you funded half of, so winning nets you +0.8× your stake while losing costs the full 1×. Break-even is therefore 5/9, not 50%. At $10 a side you gain $8 per win and lose $10 per loss.
Draws are excluded because they carry no fee and are refunded in full, so they move nothing either way. A coin-flip player loses money on this platform, and on every platform that charges a fee — the fee is the price of running escrow, matchmaking and dispute review, not a prediction that you will win. Stake what you can afford to lose and read responsible play first.
On anything that is not a completed match. Per our terms, refunds for cancelled matches, expired matches and draws are processed automatically back to your wallet — so a challenge nobody accepts costs you nothing, and neither does a match called off before it starts. Deposits and withdrawals are free on Locked's side; only third-party processors may charge.
A draw is the case worth reading twice, because it is two steps and not one. If a match ends level, our terms require a new game under the Golden Goal rule — whoever scores first wins it. Only when both players actually report a draw does the system refund both stakes in full, with no fee taken.
Everything — there is no premium tier. Signing up takes an email or one-click Google and every account gets the full platform:
Deposits via PayPal or card are credited instantly. Withdrawals go to PayPal, or to MercadoPago where that rail is enabled. Withdrawals are approved by hand after a security check: over the last 90 days, half were approved within about 6 hours and 9 in 10 within 24 hours (33 approved withdrawals to September 12, 2026), and identity verification can add time. The minimum on both sides is $5 USD, and Locked does not charge a fee on either. Third-party processors (PayPal, card networks) may apply their own fees, passed through transparently at checkout.
No subscription. No catch.
